Well I'll start by introducing myself. I'm Alice, or as I liked to be called, Ali. I'm a 20-something woman living the beautiful small town of Edenwold.
However, I didn't always live here. I grew up 25 minutes away in the capital city. My
He grew up on a farm just 5 minutes away, so this was no real change for him. But being a city girl at heart, I've had to get used to certain things; like bad water pressure, septic tanks and even the funny colour the water sometimes is. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't move back to Regina unless I had no choice. The peaceful drive each morning and evening is a nice way to break in the day and unwind from it.
The best thing about living out here is that I have this amazing kitchen with enough counter space to actually work on(no more cramped apartment kitchens), not to mention the gorgeous view of the backyard from my kitchen window. We were lucky enough to almost have an acre of land with a beautifully landscaped backyard. This year I even planted a vegetable garden, I can't wait to make delicious dishes with my own veggies!
